Hi Drew ~ enjoyed your podcast today. I have to admit it took me all day to listen to it. I had to break it up in segments so my old English teacher ears could take the colorful language. hee hee! Just kidding you! ( I know a 76 year old is not your target audience -- but I did live during the days when the song "Age of Aquarius" was first introduced :) Do not disregard us old folks -- we get that past trauma has influenced us. Philosophers like Decartes & Voltaire have been questioning everything as far back as the 17th C Age of Enlightenment . It seems as if we go in cycles -- progressing each time as we go. Oh my, the 1970's hated "the man" too. I've always wondered if there are really any original ideas left -- or are they just old ideas presented with new words & modern messaging (that fits the times.) You guys are definitely the new Jedi that are going to help today's people -- no matter what words you use. Thanks, ~Jan

Ha ha, there's definitely a wide variety of guests and the vernacular they bring.

I think you're exactly right about things coming in circles. Much of philosophy is just wording the greeks in different verbiage.

The times change, but humans are ever the same I suppose.
