Live With Zack Gerber
Co-Host Of The Canadian Story Podcast And Sound Tech For Walk Off The Earth Speaks About Standing Up And Taking Control Of Your Destiny
What is the current story of Canada? It's not a good one by most accounts. But, there are people out there not only tracking what's happened, but working towards a new and better national story.
Zach Gerber - Co-Host of the Canadian Story podcast and sound engineer for the band Walk Off The Earth - is one of those people.
(Walk Off The Earth, pictured above)
Brought up through the punk rock scene, Zach rediscovered his proclivity towards fighting the system during the Ontario lockdowns. Some of the harshest lockdowns in all of Canada!
Many of the wildest videos and stories over the pandemic about Canada were coming out of Ontario, which houses the Nation’s capital.
One of those videos that went viral was shot by Zach early into the Pandemic and during one such lockdown. Check it out below:
Some of the experiences Zach had both as a resident of Ontario (a province that literally blockaded the borders at one point to trap all citizens inside of it) as well as a member of the music industry speak directly to what it costs to be a free thinker in this day and age.
But, it’s in these experiences that he’s found himself freed after doing to hard internal work necessary to take one’s destiny into one’s own hands.
His message and spirit is one that is badly needed to continue the fight, but also to help direct where this country is heading moving forward, beyond the present fray it finds itself in.
